The CHHP Swimming Clinic is led by Professor Greg Whyte OBE . A former national swimming champion, Greg is an Olympian and Major Games medal winner in Modern Pentathlon. In addition to his extensive sporting career, which latterly includes solo swims across the English Channel and the Gibraltar Straits, Greg is a leader in the field of coaching science; guiding swimmers across the entire spectrum of ability, from newcomer to Olympian.

Bespoke Programmes to suit all levels

The CHHP Swimming Clinic covers all the requirements for performance optimisation, from technical analysis to bespoke training plans using both pool and open water environments to provide a bespoke experience tailored to the specific needs of the client.

Professor Greg Whyte OBE

Professor Greg Whyte OBE, leads the Swimming Performance Clinic at CHHP.

Greg’s high profile work includes coaching David Walliams to swim the English Channel, the Gibraltar Straits and the length of the River Thames. 2014 saw Greg leading more high profile challenges including Davina McCall’s ‘Beyond Breaking Point’ challenge for Sport relief where Greg coached Davina to tackle the tough extremes of Lake Windermere as part of her epic 7 day triathlon from Edinburgh to London.
