CHHP & Home House launch Corporate Contender

UNIQUE PROGRAMME DELIVERS COMPREHENSIVE WELLNESS ASSESSMENT AND STRATEGIES FOR MAINTAINING BOTH MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH

World-renowned sports scientist and physical activity expert, Professor Greg Whyte OBE, and psychotherapist and entrepreneur, Jon Treanor announce the launch of ‘Corporate Contender’, the first comprehensive wellness programme aimed at delivering 360 degree health for corporate executives, at the Centre for Health and Human Performance (CHHP), Harley Street, London.

The first of its kind, Corporate Contender couples a specialist physical assessment with psychological and emotional profiling for the ultimate health check. Professor Greg Whyte and Jon Treanor, both experts in their fields of physiology and psychotherapy respectively, devised the unique programme on realising that many of their clients, and their client’s businesses, could benefit from something more than the regular corporate health check.

Psychotherapist, successful entrepreneur and former blue-chip CEO Jon Treanor, explains: “With growing evidence that ignoring stress can be disruptive and costly to business; improving health and performance in the workplace is moving higher up the agenda for businesses. By providing employees with access to expert support, ‘burn out’, time off sick and performance issues can be potentially avoided.”

He added: “Corporate Contender is totally unique in today’s business environment – a comprehensive wellness profile to help busy executives perform to their optimum ability, as well as grow as individuals – not just surviving but thriving, both in business and personally.”

Corporate Contender involves a thorough physiological assessment with CHHP’s renowned specialists, including a comprehensive nutritional consultation and biomechanical assessments, followed by a session with a qualified psychotherapist. To cater for busy schedules the full programme can be completed in one half-day session or as individual assessments.

Professor Greg Whyte OBE, Director of Performance at CHHP, added: “Being physically fit has obvious benefits, such as reducing stress and fighting disease, but good health isn’t just restricted to the body; our mind plays a central role in performance and is often neglected, limiting us from reaching our full potential. Corporate Contender aims to help today’s work-weary professional stay at the top of their game and lead happy, healthy and successful lives for longer.”

CHHP will be hosting a Corporate Contender introduction evening at Home House in London from 6.30pm on Tuesday 7th July 2015.
